Student elections - 11 and November 12, 2008
The Rector Decree No Rep. 311 of 14.07.2008 has announced the election of student representatives in the bodies of the University of Central Studi del Piemonte Orientale "Amedeo Avogadro" for three academic years 2008/2011
Student representatives to be elected are:
Committee for Equal Opportunities for the validity of elections is required quorum 30% of those entitled to vote: No
3 student representatives, one for institutional forum (Vercelli, Novara and Alessandria).
Senate: No
3 student representatives, one for institutional forum (Vercelli, Novara and Alessandria).
Board: No
3 student representatives, for an institutional forum (Vercelli, Novara and Alessandria).
Activities Committee of the University Sports: No
2 student representatives
Board of Directors of the Regional for the right to study (EDISU): No
1 student representative
Those elected shall hold office for three academic years 2008/2009, 2009/2010, 2010/2011.
The office of the central administration to put in place the requirements relating to the electoral process is the General Business Sector, Via Duomo 6, Vercelli.
The vote belongs to all students regularly enrolled at the date of election. The
for election rests with prospective students and that they are repeating the course or out for more than two years.

student voters lists shall be posted at the Student Secretariat of each Faculty at least fifteen days before the election.

Each student exercises the right to vote in the polling station to which it is assigned.

The casting of votes is made by paper ballot: the voter, after it was confirmed his identity by producing a valid ID will receive ballot papers and an indelible pencil to exercise the right to vote.
Each voter can only make one vote.
Elections are held for students through lists of them competing in the proportional system.
